Her kindergarten teacher noticed her giftedness and advised her parents to send her to that school. After the iranian revolution she was forced to visit a "normal" school, where she was bored and unhappy. These experiences motivated her to find ways to spare other gifted children from making the same sad experiences. Her main interests in the field of talentdevelopment and excellence are underachievement, teacher trainings, learning and motivational training programs, development of creativity and solution oriented counseling for Gifted and Talented children. Her goal now is to support and help Gifted and Talented Children around the world.
Roya Klingner is an Author and Illustrator. She has a Diploma in Illustration of Children book from London Art College.

"Few have greater ingenuity, creativity and energy in pursuing tasks and objectives - and with commendable results. Roya Klinger's Centre for Gifted and Talented Children is a wonderful example of this. I would go so far as to say that she manages to achieve single-handedly what formal education and specialised institutions at universities often find difficult to achieve. In short, Roya Klinger is a formidable asset in her field."

"When I think of Roya Klingner, the words of the song, "We Are the World", come to mind ... "There comes a time when we head a certain call ...". In life, we meet someone such as Roya only a few times. I feel fortunate that our paths have crossed at this moment in time. Our mutual interest in gifted children and their education brought us together. Her passion for these children is infectious and has inspired me to go far beyond all the limits I ever set for myself; to strive to affect the state of gifted education without regard to physical or national boundaries. Over time, I have gained immense respect for her intellect. I have had the privilege to correspond and converse with her in four different languages. She works diligently to advance the cause of gifted children wherever she goes. In a town outside of Munich, Germany, is located Begabungszentrum Bayern – the Bavarian Center for Gifted and Talented Children which Roya started in 2008. The center provides identification, coaching, and counseling services for both parents and teachers. They also offer professional development for teachers, mentoring for gifted children, therapy, lectures, and annual gifted conferences. Roya and her husband created a virtual meeting place online in Second Life where gifted advocates, parents, and educators meet once a month to hear guest lecturers from around the world speak about gifted education. The one word that is not in Roya's vocabulary is "can't" regardless of which language she may be speaking at the moment. She is constantly looking for new opportunities that might advance the cause of providing an appropriate education for all gifted children. It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Roya Klingner and her work."
